Mrs. Mary Uduma - President
Mr. Sunday Folayan - Vice President

Basicly, this guys goes all over the internet to hate-post about a new Nigerian TLD that made a mistake. Yes, they fucked up, but they regret it, and the way of this whole thing is blown out of proportion

Folayan explains .ng domain name convention

Read here:http://www.itrealms.com.ng/2011/09/folayan-explains-ng-domain-name.html
[quote]
According to him, NIRA reserves the right to disallow names in certain domains, therefore maintains the list of domains that must not be available for registration, otherwise such domain names could be withdrawn if already registered.

How you turn it, even if you get 600 lawyers, you will never get those domains back because:

1: Wednesday, September 28, 2011 (long before you registered) they allready stated in their policy that they can at all times decide that any name will be unregistered (with valid reason and compensation)

2: On your own website, where you offer to sell domains, you also show a list of sold domains (http://www.domain.com.ng/africa27s+domain+sales+history) which indicates to me that you have much experience with domains and registrars, so.... common sense would have made it clear to you that registering a country name on its TLD will just not happen in this world, its the same as if the bank makes a mistake and deposits 10 million dollars on your account because of a typo, if you spend it all in 1 day, youll still have to pay it back or go to jail (o.k. i admit its an extreme example, but its essence is true)

Let me clarify that even more for you:
Hypotheticly speaking, if you would have done this for lets say marlboro.com or ferrari.com or fbi.com, not only would they just take away the domain from you, but also sue you for your damaging their Online Reputation.

For example: (source wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reputation)

in 1999 Coca-Cola lost $60 million (by its own estimate) after schoolchildren reported suffering from symptoms like headaches, nausea and shivering after drinking its products

In your case the analogy would be:

You accuse a TLD of stealing, and lying
Publicly stating ".ng is the most dangerous domain"
And intimidation of employees like in this example: (source:http://www.nira.org.ng/nigeriagames/nigeriagames.pdf)

I have this morning, blocked Mr tian yong from chatting with me on Skype. He was
calling me on skype, as early as 6.30am. From the extensive chat which is laced with
blackmail, threats and intimidation, It is clear he is being urged on, by some people
amongst us and he is not very discrete with his use of information. I guess it is
fair to say ... Please let us be careful, when we do not want to be quoted.

And finally:
THEY OFFERED YOU 6(!!!!) PREMIUM DOMAINS FOR FREE AS COMPENSATION

My final thoughts:

Its a shame NiRA made this mistake, for you, and for them!
They will probably admit its not one of their most shiny moments, but from reading their reactions, its very clear they were sorry about it.
They took the situation very seriously, worked out details and mailing back and forth with a large number of people.
They were very patient with you, even when you became unreasonable, they still offered you 6 premium domains of your choice.
They even made the case publicly available, instead of denying their mistake.

After all this you should be happy they didnt sue you (yet) because many companies (in the u.s. for sure) would have taken you to court for this, and i dont think you would have much chance there, and probably had to pay 50.000$ or more for damaging there company and threatning employees etc. so take it easy dude!

I hope you will think about what i wrote here, and maybe even send them a mail that youre sorry about your behavior, that would mean a lot to them, and it would impress me with your maturity.

Peace
Mk-Ultra

I challenge Dynadot people to reflect on this, because they do allow it on the forum, meaning they are openminded, or they dont want to start something funky here?
Or perhaps they just dont read it, or dont care...
