IDN search problems

Two things for IDNs

First, Is there any way we can type in the direct IDN string, or punycode, ex: "xn--h9g".  There are some browsers that support non UTF-8 characters in the address bar and these characters can be represented as a legal IDN string, however your search does not allow them.

Second, when doing an IDN search, only .ws says avaialbe, even when it is clear that the other TLD's are not taken.  At first I thought perhaps the others in the list don't support IDNs but according to your TLD Table here, most of them should.

Those characters are probably not supported.  The purpose of IDNs is to have domains in different languages, not special characters and symbols.

I'm having the same issue as alex_d. Am I doing something wrong? I searched for "◕‿◕", and here's a screenshot of dynadot search results:

However, this domain has not been registered:

Search for xn--57h.com and it returns:
"You did not enter a valid Punycode encoded domain."

If you search for the corresponding character "⚡" it returns:
"You did not enter a valid UTF-8 encoded domain name."

Our search box accepts both punycode and native characters.

Can you send us a screenshot of a typical search, because my results aren't matching yours.
