I don't like that i was stupid enough to buy webspace here. I should have looked a bit closer since I later found out that it doesn't run any script at all.
I also didn't like the fact that I payed way to much for all this. I payed about 60 euro's and what i got was some webspace that i couldnt use. Even though i could have gotten some webspace with PHP and GD support, about 8 times the bandwith, 166 times the total webpace and a more accessible admin panel for about 40 euro's. And while we're talking about admin panels, I really hate the fact that my passwords are displayed in the open. If somebody were to get my main password they would have no trouble getting the others since its right there. This also makes me wonder how much privacy I'm getting. I am willing to bet Dynadot employees can freely look through my passwords. I doubt that it's MD5 encrypted or something similar to that.
I understand that I was just stupid enough to fall for all of this, but why doesn't Dynabot change there prices to make them fit with their hosting plans.
And at these prices why do we get such horrible service? There is no live support, just an e-mail service that takes way to long to respond. My e-mail account is broken and all I can do is sit here till somebody decides to look at my e-mail. I'm just going to assume that the main dynabot website allows for PHP to be used, so why don't you get a live support script running on here. There are free scripts that do this if you don't like to waste any of our money on your well needed service...
We are sorry you thought that our hosting supports scripts. We do mention that it does not. However, we will add an additional note on the signup page to make it even more clear.
I think we already credited your account for the hosting. We do offer live support Mon-Fri, 9am-6pm.
We do plan to offer scripting and database someday. However, that is a very difficult thing to do well. So for now we just offer basic hosting.
It is a little annoying about the webhosting being pretty basic, but I can understand why. and it is pretty clearly said that it doesn't have any script capabilities. I'm not sure about the euro-us dollar exchange but the price in USD is pretty good for what you get. I haven't had a single problem with support from dynadot, I find it excellent. I especially like the fact that the people providing support are actually the engineers, rather than normal customer service people. I don't know about the rest of your problems, except that maybe you should think about the logistics of live support? I certainly believe Dynadot is the best in domain registration.
