from the control panel, domain name section, is posible to ask for deletion but not for deletion for credit. I think that if the domain is in the grace hours both options should be available in this section (deletion for credit is only avilable from the summary section). Due to this I ordered deletion of several domain names instead of "deletion for credit". Can I recover the credit?

thanks in advance for your reply

Yes, during the grace period the domain is still yours only. Nobody else can register the domain, because you already registered it.

If you still have time left in the grace period, you can request a deletion, and get a Dynadot account credit. Then you can use the credit to get another domain name.

When the hours goes down to zero, then it is too late to get an account credit. Each central registry sets their own policy on how long the grace period is. For most registries it is 5 days (120 hours).

So Grace hours is for the customer to cancel the domain incase change of mind right? Other people won't be able to register the domains that are in Grace hours right?
Thanks a lot. Just to make sure :)

The grace period is usually 5 days (120 hours). If you delete a domain name before that period, we can give you your money back (Dynadot account credit).

Then you can use the credit to register another domain name.
