What is a Premium User Auction?
Updated: 2025/06/27Viewed times: 2997
Dynadot's Premium User Auctions offer an excellent opportunity to list and sell high-quality domain names. These auctions are held once per month and feature domain names that meet specific premium standards, ensuring buyers have access to valuable, investment-worthy names.
Once a Premium User Auction begins, buyers can place bids to compete for the domain. The requirement to bid is a deposit of $100 or 5% of the bid amount (whichever is greater). At the end of the auction, the highest bidder wins and has 3 calendar days to complete payment. If a payment is not received within that time, the bid deposit (greater of $100 or 5%) will be forfeited as a non-payment fee. There is no second-place or runner-up winner. If the auction payment is made successfully, the domain will be moved into the buyer's account.
Please note domains won in our Premium User Auctions will be placed in "Buy Lock" status for 30 days.
How It Works
Dynadot users can submit domain names for consideration in the Premium User Auctions. Each submission is carefully reviewed by our team to confirm it meets our eligibility criteria for quality and marketability.
