Can't send email - Dynadot site listed as Spam?
Since last evening, I can only receive emails, but can not send any. I'm getting a note that Dynadot has been listed as spam when I try to send through Outlook. Are you aware of this issue?

I often cannot receive email messages from one particular sender (who is a pretty important business contact). He gets the error message, part of which I pasted below. Does that mean that you have simply blacklisted his IP, or is there anything I can do to make sure I get those emails? This message was created automatically by mail delivery software. A message that you sent has not yet been delivered to one or more of its recipients after 26 hours. The message has not yet been delivered to the following addresses: <xxx@xxx.xx> SMTP error from remote server in greeting: host vertical-vibe.de[173.245.76.50]: 421 webhost.dynadot.com your ip address has been banned due to spam complaints No action is required on your part. Delivery attempts will continue for some time, and this warning may be repeated at intervals if the message remains undelivered. Eventually the mail delivery software will give up, and when that happens, the message will be returned to you. --- The header of the original message is following. ---

Would anyone, by chance, have Comcast as their ISP? Here is the exact message that I'm getting using MSOutlook: Task '[name@website.com] - Sending' reported error (0x800CCC0F) : 'The connection to the server was interrupted. If this problem continues, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP). The server responded: 421 smtp.webhost.dynadot.com your ip address has been banned due to spam complaints' IP address that my system is using is 67.189.209.246

According to this (and my delivery failure notices) http://smtp.e-dns.org/parkmail.dynadot.com. parkmail.dynadot.com servers are being blocked due to spam complaints. This is pretty serious.

We have removed the IP checking from our SMTP server, so this problem should be resolved now. Please let us know if you continue to experience any difficulties. Thank you again for your patience and understanding.

j_f_kent_us: I'm not sure how this issue relates to your Dynadot account. All we are providing you with is email forwarding. If you are having trouble sending email, please contact your email provider. The failure notice given, though, seems to indicate an issue with the address jessicaxerxes@yahoo.com.

I answered my own question.....still having issues. This is hurting our business. It may be time to switch hosts. Hate to go through that hassle. This is the mail system at host ss-MacBook-6.local. I'm sorry to have to inform you that your message could not be delivered to one or more recipients. It's attached below. For further assistance, please send mail to postmaster. If you do so, please include this problem report. You can delete your own text from the attached returned message. Over here, neither sending nor receiving e-mail is working ("server connection terminated"), website is down for "scheduled maintenance" (when was it scheduled?) -- would be nice to hear from Dynadot what's going on. Thanks.

r4mnes and l_g_k_hu: Those errors relate to email received. As it turns out, many spammers use gmail addresses. When we initially added our spam filters, we would block the sending IP when an unwanted message was received. This was a bit too broad, however, as many addresses will share the same IP. We have now focused the filter to block only the specific address, so this error too should now be resolved. We'd like to thank you all again for your patience and understanding.

Our emails are being rejected that are sent from dynadot. I think dynadot has security issues and are being blacklisted across the net.
