CAA records
Could you please add support for CAA records in the DNS? Thanks!

This will likely be added in 2018. I do apologize for the wait.

It's 2018 now, almost a year to the day for that matter. What happened?

The request is arranged under our new feature list. It may take some time for the new function to be added and we will try our best to launch it as soon as possible. Thanks for the attention.

I'll run it past our engineering team and see if we can't get that on the list for you. :]

Still nothing? Even though it's been almost a year since CAA checking was made mandatory by the CAs ? C'mon guys, please implement this. https://dnsspy.io/blog/caa-record-checking-now-mandatory-certificate-authorities/

Only 1.5 years since Dynadot has been on this case? That is fast for this bunch. As I have said previously, it is more important to get spurious fees from people like you and me than actually improve their service or even comply (OMG!!) with other mandatory necessity. Maybe by December 2018? 2019? Why even ask? Betcha they will do something if you offer them money.

Thank you all for the feedback and attention on the request. We apologize for the waiting. Due to the volume of the requests we received, it will take longer time for us to implement some requests but the CAA record is listed in our feature list and we will certainly add that to our system. Hopefully we could get that done as soon as possible. Again, we apologize for any inconvenience that may have caused.

Fact is, had they wanted to do something that helped you it would have been done by now. It would appear the CAA record features don't make them any money, so the tedious robo-reply is actually saying this. LOL

if your domain is: seo2design.com you need to add CAA recorder in DNS settings page like this: :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Record Type: CAA IP Address or Target Host: 0 issue "letsencrypt.org" then save it! and if your domain has subdomain use https issued by letsencrypt.org, like my: www.seo2design.com you should add subdomain CAA recorder below Subdomain Records also, like this: Subdomain:www Record Type: CAA IP Address or Target Host: 0 issue "letsencrypt.org" then save it. good luck!
