How do I rename the email address under my Email plan?

You can rename the email address associated with your Email plan by creating an alias. The alias becomes your new active email address, but you can revert to the original at any time. To do so, please follow these steps:
- Sign in to your Dynadot account.
- Select "My Emails" in the left-side menu.
- Click the "Sign In" link next to your Email plan. (opens webmail in a new window).
- In the webmail interface, click on the "Settings" gear icon on the left to open up your mailbox settings.
- Find the "Email Alias" section.
- In the field provided, enter your new desired email address.
- Toggle on the "Enabled Alias" option.
- Click on the "Save" button to save your changes. Your active email address is now updated to the new alias.
To revert to your original address, simply return to the "Email Alias" section in Settings and toggle off the "Enabled Alias" option.
Note:- The maximum length of an email address is 25 characters.
- The only characters you can use in the email address are [a-z, 0-9, -, _, .].
- The first character of the mailbox cannot be a number or "-, _, .".
- This feature is available for both Free and Pro email plans.
