What is the difference between SSL renew and SSL reissue?

An SSL renewal will not typically require you to generate a new CSR. Choose the renewal option if you want to renew your certificate and no other details have changed.

A reissue can be done if you've lost your private key, or your server details have changed. A reissue will not extend the validity period of your certificate.
