How do I delete an email address I created in my Pro Email plan?
Updated: 2026/03/05Viewed times: 33744
Our Pro Email plan allows you to create up to 25 email addresses. You can delete individual addresses as needed to keep your Email plan organized.
To delete an address from your Pro Email plan, please follow these steps:
- Sign in to your Dynadot account.
- Select "My Emails" from the left-side menu bar.
- Click on the "Sign In" link beside the email plan. This will open your webmail interface in a new browser window.
- In the new window, locate the Mailboxes section in the bottom-left corner.
- Click the Mailbox icon (Manage Mailboxes).
- Check the box next to the email address you wish to delete.
- Click "Delete".
- Click the "Confirm Deletion" button to save your changes.
- Deletion is permanent. Back up any important emails or data from the mailbox before proceeding.
- If an email address is associated with a user, you must delete the user before deleting the email address.
- A catch-all email address cannot be deleted. You must disable the catch-all settings on the email address before attempting to delete it.
Free Email Plan Limitations
The Free Email service does not allow deletion of the email address. To stop using the free email plan or switch to a third-party email provider, please disconnect your domain from the Email plan. How can I disable my email settings?
If your goal is simply to change the name of your email address, please refer to the relevant guide below based on your plan:
- Pro Email Plan: You can create an email alias. This will become your new primary email address while retaining your original email address.
- Free Email Plan: You can rename the email address directly.
